To meet increasing demand of quality milk and to augment the economy of small rural livestock holders, thereby improving the quality of life of poor farmers.
Our commitment to this project extends to establishment of a “Centre of Excellence” with the capacity to manage 5000 high genetic merit (HGM) Gir and Sahiwal breed of cows.
An Integrated Milk Value Chain Initiative. Reimagining Dairy with Integration at Every Step. Breeding, Processing, and Distribution — Seamlessly Connected.
Set up a dairy farm of High Genetics Merit Gir and Sahiwal cows. These cows will be either be born out of imported embryos from Brazil or will be born by IVF from high merit local cows. Through genetic improvement of the livestock, BL Kamdhenu targets to increase milk production from existing 10-12 Litres per day per cow to 25-30 litres per day per cow.
B L Kamdhenu is at the forefront of introducing cutting-edge technology in Cattle Breeding and In Vitro Fertilization processes. These innovations are poised to play a pivotal role in advancing the objectives of dairying in India. With IVF and sexed semen it will be able to get 45 female calves from one elite cow.
Our approach emphasizes community participation, aiming to boost farmers' income and empowerment. This initiative reflects our dedication to contributing to the next White Revolution in India.
To further enhance farmers' competitiveness and increase their advantage in emerging market opportunities, we are setting up Milk Producer Organization. The FPO's major operations will include the supply of technology, market linkages, training, networking and financial & technical advice to the farmers
